We are reiterating worse ways of developing software by doing what we have always done and impeding others to discover better ways. Through this work we have come to value:

  • Apparatuses and policies over individuals and interactions
  • Obsolete documentation over working software
  • Contract enforcement over customer collaboration
  • Following old habits over responding to change

That is, while things get busy with the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.
